Loose Women’s Judi Love was seemingly caught on camera giving Lorraine Kelly the “side eye”.
The look, that has since caused mass speculation about a possible feud, took place at the BAFTA TV Awards, when the Scottish TV host stepped up to accept a prestigious award. Judi, who has been a regular on the Loose Women panel since 2020, was among many TV stars at London’s Royal Festival Hall.
The event saw actors and presenters from popular shows like Happy Valley, I’m A Celebrity and Succession all going head-to-head for awards and recognition from their peers. However, it was Lorraine Kelly’s acceptance speech for the BAFTA Special Award that stole the spotlight.

The award, presented to her by scientist Brian Cox, recognised her outstanding contribution to the television industry over four decades. As Lorraine accepted her award, cameras panned to Judi, whose reaction left viewers questioning if there’s tension between the two ITV stars.
As she wrapped up her heartfelt acceptance speech, Lorraine Kelly couldn’t help but exclaim with glee: “I’m on the telly tomorrow, but I’m going to celebrate tonight. Thank you so much!”
The camera glanced at the audience flashing up Ant and Dec, the beloved I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! hosts, grinning from ear to ear as they applauded enthusiastically. Meanwhile, Anne Reid, star of The Sixth Commandment, was spotted offering a more reserved applause, reports the Mirror.
But all eyes were on Judi Love as the camera caught her looking anything but thrilled, seemingly refusing to join in the applause and even rolling her eyes. This moment didn’t escape the eagle-eyed viewers at home, who quickly took to social media to share their amusement over the incident.
Social media was ablaze with reactions, with one viewer posting on X: “Judi Love’s reaction to Lorraine’s award” followed by a pair of skull emojis, suggesting they found Judi’s response hilariously shocking.
Another viewer aligned themselves with Judi, simply stating: “I’m with Judi.” Some speculated that Judi’s reaction might have been sparked by Lorraine’s infamous “part-time” presence on her own show.
A cheeky fan quipped: “Judi knows Lorraine not coming back to work this Friday haha.” Yet, some thought it was just a touch of jealousy, with a comment reading: “Why are the #loosewomen so bitter.”
Post-awards, Judi took to Instagram to share her joy at being nominated. Her panel show, Loose Women, was in the running for the Best Daytime award alongside Lorraine’s show, but ultimately both were pipped to the post by the BBC’s Scam Interceptors.
In her post featuring red carpet snaps, the television celebrity expressed: “What a beautiful day! It’s been a honour to be nominated for best daytime show @bafta I want to thank the amazing production team @loosewomen that are constantly evolving the show and setting the pace for new content, diverse stories and topics that reflect the audience! Even more fantastic that the black history month special episode was nominated with @realandypeters @charlenewhite @babatundecomedian.”
She also posted a funny video, posing alongside Lorraine and giving her the major side-eye. However the duo soon broke character and laughed, showing there’s no bad blood between them.
