Holly Willoughby is set to return to ITV in a new project alongside Stephen Mulhern.
The much-loved telly icon, who waved goodbye to ‘ This Morning ‘ viewers back in October 2023, is about to grace our screens for two primetime specials of the legendary challenge show ‘You Bet!’, slated to drop later in the year.
It’s all about gutsy members of the public showing off their quirky skills in hopes of bagging a hefty cash prize.

Celeb judges and those in the studio get down to business by predicting if the contenders can smash the wild tasks they’re up against. Correct guesses by the celeb squad rack up points, with a little cheeky help from audience, reports the Mirror.
As the finale hits, the crowd have their say picking their top challenger for a whopping £10,000 reward. The top-scoring celeb snags ten grand for a charity of their choice, whilst the one trailing behind faces a hilariously nail-biting last stand.
Holly said: “I’m so excited to be part of this iconic game show with the fabulous Stephen Mulhern. I’m looking forward to seeing the astonishing skills on show from the challengers and which of our celebrity panellists can come out on top.”
Stephen Mulhern couldn’t contain his excitement about their upcoming venture, saying: “I loved You Bet! as a kid, so I’m very excited to be hosting this with the wonderful Holly Willoughby. From the big and spectacular to the unique and unexpected, I can’t wait to see what extraordinary skills the challengers have up their sleeves.”
This news follows Holly’s decision to take a step back from the public eye after Gavin Plumb was arrested, leading to his conviction for soliciting murder and inciting rape and kidnap.
In the past few months, there were whispers of Holly making a gradual comeback to stardom as she was rumoured to be teaming up with Bear Grylls for a fresh Netflix series, which would whisk her away to Costa Rica alongside a star-studded cast.
However, with Costa Rica’s homicide rate spiking to 17.2 per 100,000 people in 2023 from 11.7 in 2018, Netflix chiefs are leaving nothing to chance. The streaming giant is reportedly “investing huge sums” to ensure the triumph of its new endeavour, but the safety of the 43-year-old presenter and her fellow celebrities remains the top concern.
