Fans of Beyond the Yorkshire Farm were buzzing on social media after watching Clive Owen and his son Reuben tackle a tricky situation with their farm equipment.
During the episode aired on Wednesday night (August 7), Channel 5 viewers watched as Reuben and his mates faced the seemingly ‘endless’ challenge of fixing a tractor whose tread kept slipping off, a problem Reuben deals with “about once a day” since he bought the machinery with his own money.
Clive couldn’t hide his pride for Reuben’s dedication to their family’s farming business and reassured him of his support whenever needed.
Viewers took to Twitter to express their admiration, with one fan praising Clive for showing his “true colours” in these heartwarming moments.

Reuben, who bravely went on to start his own business after finishing an apprenticeship, opened up about the numerous challenges he has faced. The entrepreneur said on the show: “It’s been hard for me to start my own business. I’ve been incredibly skint a lot of times. We have breakdowns now. Cost me five-and-a-bit thousand quid.”
“If that had been when I started, that would have been the end of it. It’s not a walk in the park and it still isn’t a walk in the park, but I love doing it. When I was little, we always had to work fairly hard. Dad and Mum… Well, you were always expected to do plenty of work.

“I did all the repairs on the farm, and I kind of think whatever you kind of learn when you’re younger stays with you for the rest of your life.”
After his parents decided to end their marriage, Reuben also shared some heartfelt advice, confessing: “They decided and that was that. They are happy as they are. Everyone makes it work. Beyond that, it’s not my business. All I want is for them to be happy. That is all that matters. They are happy, and that’s all that counts.”
