One of P Diddy’s former employees has branded the rapper a “walking nightmare”.
In a new Daily Mail podcast titled The Trial of Diddy, Pam Lewis-Rudden, who worked for Sean Combs as his assistant in the early nineties, revealed what her experience was like. She said: “He called me a b**** one time too many times.”
“It might not have been me, you know, just that word, and using it in addressing any and everybody in front of other people as well. It was like you were in a room and he was saying it to you one-on-one, it was like in front of the whole office and any of the artists.”

Pam decided she’d had enough and after hearing about a “job opening,” the former assistant thought: “I’m out of here.” She worked beside Diddy at Uptown Records, where he was eventually fired from back in 1993.

Andre Harrell was the chief executive of Motown Records from 1995 to 1997 and spoke about the move, saying: “Puff wouldn’t really listen to anyone but me, so my full-time job became managing Puff…I didn’t do it to hurt him, but I knew that it was time to let him grow.”
He continued: The final straw for me was when MCA wanted me to not put Biggie Smalls on the album because they didn’t like the subject matter and they wanted me to tell him he’s gotta change his tone, and I thought it wasn’t up to me to tell a generation what the could and couldn’t do artistically.”

This meant that Harrell “knew it wasn’t going to work” because Diddy’s music was the same style, so according to the executive he made the decision to drop Combs. Harrell claimed that he told the I’ll Be Missing You rapper: “I’m really letting you go so you can go get rich.”
Sean later spoke about the incident with Oprah Winfrey and explained what happened at Uptown Records. Diddy branded himself “very passionate” and admitted that he “didn’t understand protocol or workplace politics”.

“So I got fired because there can’t be two kings in one castle. I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful to Andre but I was fighting so hard. He wanted to be more diplomatic and to make sure everybody felt involved.” Diddy is currently charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution, which the rapper “categorically denies”.
