Terrifier 2 actress Casey Hartnett left her neighbour fearing she might be getting murdered.
The star said she freaked out her neighbour because she was “screaming b***dy murder” while recording an audition tape for the gory 2022 horror film. Casey had to film her own auditions and, as it was a slasher movie, she had to do a lot of screaming.
So it seems like the walls of her Brooklyn apartment were pretty thin, so you can’t really blame her next-door neighbours for getting a bit concerned. However, they were a little unsure about what was causing all the apparent commotion.

They didn’t know whether the actress was getting brutally murdered by a killer or was simply letting loose in the bedroom. Hartnett told Round the Clock Frights: “I just did a self-tape.”

“I’m in my apartment and I’m screaming b***dy murder and my neighbour comes and knocks on the door. Actually it was really funny. They were like ‘I wasn’t sure if you were getting murdered or having really weird sex’.”
Hartnett played the role of Allie in Terrifier 2 – part of Damien Leone’s twisted Terrifier franchise. The films follow seemingly unkillable serial killer Art the Clown (David Howard Thornton) who murders his victims in horrific ways.

After her self-tape audition, she did a chemistry read with Lauren LaVera, who plays protagonist Sienna. It was her final audition, which involved a lot of screaming, which left her neighbour fearing for her safety.
Unfortunately (spoiler incoming), Hartnett’s character gets killed in one of the most disgusting ways imaginable during the movie. The clown breaks into her home and skins her alive before pouring bleach and salt onto her body.

Allie’s mother also gets killed by Art when she returns home to find her daughter’s mutilated body. A description of the movie on IMDB reads: “After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to the timid town of Miles County where he targets a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween night.”
Terrifier 3 is out on October 11 and the film’s premiere caused nine people to walk out.
