The appearance of Bonnie Blue, an adult star, on This Morning has set off a backlash and prompted an Ofcom storm. ITV viewers were taken aback when the show featured Bonnie, known for her videos with students, as she chatted with Andi Peters and Cat Deeley about her controversial work.
A wave of disapproval surged through social media, with 188 complaints lodged to the broadcasting regulator after the contentious segment aired last Tuesday (November 26). While on air, Bonnie openly discussed her content business, and the financial support it provides for her family — a claim that sparked an uproar among viewers.
Feeling disgruntled, many took to platforms like X to express their intention to report the incident to Ofcom, arguing that such subject matter was highly inappropriate for daytime television viewing. One perturbed viewer posted: “Presumably #thismorning will advise viewers to make sure young children are out of the room for this next segment or do they think interviewing her at 10:35 is okay for family viewing? #ofcom.”

Another incensed individual commented: “I’m all for taking the mick, but having this gutter rat on daytime TV for a bit of PR is the pits. Unbelievable #OFCOM #ThisMorning.”
One disgruntled viewer blasted: “Bonnie Blue uses interviews like this rage bait and gets more views. Shame on #ThisMorning for giving her a platform. I don’t think 18-year-old boys can fully consent to having a video posted online forever, and what about STIs? She is abusing them,” reports the Mirror.
During the show, presenter Cat drew attention to Bonnie’s controversial reputation, noting she’s been dubbed “a predator” and banned from Australia and Fiji due to her plans to film adult content with teenagers.
When asked about her career choice, Bonnie admitted: “I didn’t know too much about the industry before I started, and it’s as simple as film videos and put it online. I guess that’s how it started.”
She further revealed that she left her recruitment job to pursue her adult entertainment career full-time for better earnings. She confessed: “It started off as just the money. So I didn’t understand pleasure in it. I didn’t understand the educational side of things. So yes, it started off purely around money. But then as I got into it, and as I educated myself in the industry, not only did I realise how much pleasure I received from it, but also how much there’s a missing gap of educational, you know, content online.”
She’s claimed she has measure on place to make sure the lads are over 18, saying: “They’ve had to bring passport, they’ve had to sign consent forms, they’ve had to do a breathalyser, right? And then they’re sleeping with someone that’s educated and understands the industry. So what part of that is unsafe?”
