Brandi Glanville has shared a worrying snap of herself with fans as she battles a hard-hitting unknown health condition that quite often leaves her with a swollen face
A reality TV legend has left fans concerned after looking unrecognisable in a new snap.
Brandi Glanville, 50, sparked a wave of concern from fans and pals alike as she took to her social media on Sunday (December 8) to upload the picture. In the worrying snap, Brandi was seen with a huge swollen face in the selfie, as she turned away to show the true extent of her condition.
The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills icon, 52, shared the picture to her X profile, and it was clear that not even she understood the situation. Writing in the caption of the post, she penned: “What happened?”

Giving fans a worrying update, she explained: “I wish I knew; I’ve been in and out of the hospital this past year and a half; spent almost every dollar I have trying to figure it out. Some Drs say I have a parasite that jumps around my face, some say it’s stress induced edema – I personally say it’s Bravo.”

Brandi shot to fame when she starred in the Beverley Hills version of the Real Housewives franchise, amassing a huge fanbase. However, these fans were concerned for the star’s welfare as she paired the snap with another caption: “Sick it.”
Fans were quick to hop into the comments section to leave messages of love and support for the star, who did not give a full update on her condition or what the cause of the swelling was. Some fans opted to try and work out what would result in the facial swelling, in the hopes of offering an answer to the star.
One confused fan asked: “Is that filler migration?” to which a second responded: “No, it’s an immune response because she’s in poor health.” A third account sympathised with Brandi, writing: “Awww Brandi, I’m so sorry – you’ve had nothing but hardships; sending all my prayers for you – you’ll come back girl and smash it, just watch!”
This is not the first time that Brandi has blamed production company Bravo for her swollen face. Brandi’s season of Ultimate Girls Trip has not yet aired while an ongoing legal battles take place, leaving her “miserable and depressed”, according to an update in July.
The reality star claims that Bravo was the reason why her face had expanded due to the stress of the legal battle being lodged against her. “I’m not even gonna share the picture of when it sinks in,” she fumed, “stress will kill you.”
“How is your wealth? Take care of yourself people; thank you Bravo,” Brandi added. “I couldn’t even work if I wanted to at this point.”
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, a source close to Brandi said that following the Ultimate Girls Trip, she has been under immense pressure. Things went south for Brandi when she was accused by fellow co-star Caroline Manzo of sexual assault in January, with Caroline claiming she was forcibly kissed and groped at her private parts by Brandi.
Following the release of the lawsuit, Brandi has strongly denied any claims made against her. The insider said: “She hasn’t been able to work since the false claims were brought against her and now it’s taking a toll on her physically.”
