EXCLUSIVE: Love Island All Stars crowned Casey O’Gorman and Gabby Allen the winners of this year’s show – now, two former contestants have issued some stern advice
Love Island All Stars crowned their winners last night during a tense grand finale and now the contestants are let loose back into the world in their new couplings.
Will they last? Or will they split soon? Who knows… But former contestants and strong couple from 2023 Jessie Wynter and Will Young have dished out some of their best advice for the new pairings.
As they leave the villa, they will be flung back into the world of glitz and glamour with many red carpet events to attend, but Jessie and Will think they should hold off before “going crazy” if they want their relationships to last.
Jessie exclusively said: “I think when they come off they need to just remember that all eyes are on you. When you come into the limelight, a lot of people are paying attention to your relationship and everything that happened in the villa, but I think the most important thing is to put your attention on each other.
“Stop worrying what other people are saying about you and just focus on each other and how you are feeling. I think that’s really going to be the best thing for progression.”
Her co-star partner and social media star Farmer Will then added: “That’s what we did. For the first couple of months, we didn’t go to any events, we didn’t party, we didn’t do anything.
“If you want it to work, you have to focus on yourselves outside of the villa, because the relationship you have inside the villa, it’s not going to be the same. It’s going to be completely different when you leave.
“And it’s just the matter of fact, if you want the relationship to work, you must spend the time around it before, before going out and going crazy.”
Jessie added further food for thought as she discussed the Islanders who have now been let out to explore their romances in the real world after Gabby Allen and Casey O’Gorman were crowned victors.
The Australian beauty added: “You’re just going to have to decide as well, do you want these opportunities? Or do you feel confident that the relationship would be worth missing out?
“Because we didn’t do much at the start, but now it’s two years on, and Will and I are busier than we’ve ever been. We didn’t get to do much and we missed out on things at the start, but it was all worth it because now we’re still doing those things together a few years later.”
The couple also shared another wedge of advice for the finalists as they get ready to boost their careers post-show. Will urged: “If they’re not on Snapchat, the biggest advice for Islanders coming out is to get on Snapchat. It is the number one happiest platform, I’ve definitely experienced that, Jessie has too. I think it’s just because Snapchat is the only platform where being imperfect is perfect.
“They just love you being yourself and seeing who you actually are. I’ve definitely found with the followers and the people that I’m connecting with to have a much bigger and better connection.”
Jessie jumped in: “I think the thing that everyone loves about Snapchat, as it’s not edited. It’s literally in live time, you just rip out the camera, post it as it is, no editing. I think there’s a lot more freedom to kind of chat one on one to people.
“It’s really good for Islanders and creators to actually communicate with other people that have just come off the show like themselves, and it really brings in that sense of community.”
