Lily Allen has lashed out at her ex-husband David Harbour, admitting that she’s ‘not over’ their split after four years of marriage, and has said she’s ‘running away’
Pop sensation Lily Allen, 39, didn’t hold back as she took a swipe at her former flame, Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 49, while spilling the tea on her love life during a live taping of her podcast.
Hosting the BBC’s Miss Me?alongside her mate and broadcaster Miquita Oliver, Lily, who called it quits with David last year and checked into a treatment facility to deal with her marriage woes earlier this year, got real with her audience at London’s Hackney Empire.
She confessed: “I am not over it. I am sort of running away. Maybe I will have a nervous breakdown.”
The chart-topper then dished out some home truths about her bedroom blues in past romances, hinting that her time with David, famed for his Stranger Things gig, might’ve been lacking in the fireworks department. “I don’t think there has been one person that has been remotely interested in my pleasure,” she revealed.
Lily didn’t stop there, adding, “I have actual d**k blindness. I can’t even picture, not even my ex-husband’s or boyfriends. I can’t picture them at all. Apart from one as I have pictures of it on my phone.”, reports the Mirror.
Lily’s comments seem to point toward her recent split from David after they called it quits a few short months ago, having been married since September 2020. In a heart-to-heart chat, Lily opened up about her personal challenges, especially her “daddy issues.”
She candidly admitted, “I have got daddy issues. A father figure. But I am trying to stop that now.”
Notably, David is ten years Lily’s senior. The singer originally crossed virtual paths with Stranger Things sensation David on the swanky dating app Raya back in 2019.
Recollecting on The Jonathan Ross Show, she shared, “It was the first time I’d been on this dating app. I was scrolling through and landed on David’s profile and pressed accept,” not realising his celebrity status.
“I didn’t know who he was. I thought he was just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show because he was wearing a policeman’s uniform. It was a still from Stranger Things. I’d never seen Stranger Things. I don’t even know what I was looking for. It was just something to do on holiday, swiping, it’s a bit of fun.”
Reflecting further she added, “When I met him I didn’t think it was going to go anywhere. He was here filming Black Widow. He was only going to be here for a couple of months. And then it did..”
David appears to have jumped back into the dating pool just two months after he was spotted on the exclusive celebrity dating app, Raya. He’s reportedly kindled a romance with Ellie Fallon, a 27 year old aspiring model and actress, according to insiders close to the pair.
The couple has been together for several months now, with Ellie accompanying Harbour on a New Year’s trip to India, where sharp-eyed fans noticed him with an unidentified woman at the time. Lily is aware of David’s new flame and is devastated, particularly after photos surfaced of Ellie smoking one of Harbour’s favourite cigar brands.
Earlier this week, Lily was seen still sporting her wedding ring. The 39 year old singer of the hit ‘Smile’, who now resides in the U.S., admitted in January that she was not in “a good place” and her mental health was “spiralling”.
After taking a break from her ‘Miss Me?’ podcast with close friend Miquita Oliver, Lily returned, claiming she was feeling better – and was spotted wearing a large ring on her wedding finger.
