Vanessa Feltz ex Ben Ofoedu is planning a wedding fit for royals – but fears his TV star ex of 16 years “never loved him”.
The Phats & Small singer, 52, is getting hitched to his new partner Vanessa Brown, 29, after a whirlwind romance. The pair are set to marry in a royal castle wedding this summer as he claims it doesn’t take a decade to say “I do” after four months of dating.
Music star Ben and entrepreneur Vanessa are making it official in the coming months with a lavish wedding ceremony in a historic castle fit for royalty. Fed up of waiting for the women in his life to commit, Ben has finally found a lady who “wants what he does in life”.
After his long-term relationship with TV star Vanessa collapsed in 2023, Ben since dates Open House star Precious Muir – who he claims also did not want to “settle down” with him.
A close source to the couple exclusively told us: “Vanessa [Feltz] was not interested in marriage and now Ben doubts the relationship looking back, and in reflection, wonders if she ever really did love him.
“Judging by her comments made on Celebs Go Dating and her recent autobiography, it’s clear to him that was the case. He wanted marriage and children and she didn’t. Precious who Ben dated for a year was also not ready to settle down.
“Whereas, Ben thinks Vanessa [Brown] is perfect. She and Ben hit it off have similar interests they’re always giggling and now they’re even finishing each others sentences it’s bizarre in a really good way.
“Anybody who’s spent time around them can clearly see they are made for each other. They both have a passion for charity and are involved in helping domestic abuse survivors and also sponsoring children in Kenya so they can get better education.
“They both love and want children and they like to travel and they both don’t don’t agree with long engagements it doesn’t suit their personalities they’ve adopted a saying ‘if ya know, then ya know’.”
The insider revealed that Ben has been telling friends: “When you know, you know – it doesn’t take a decade to get married.” Now, the countdown is on for what’s set to be one of the most glamorous weddings of the year.
