Craig Revel Horwood breaks silence on real reason Bruno left Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood appeared on Wednesday’s This Morning

Craig Revel Horwood left This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard gobsmacked when he hinted there’s more to Bruno Tonioli’s strictly-come-dancing>Strictly Come Dancing exit.

In 2022, telly fans were gutted when judge Bruno Tonioli hung up his scoring paddles after nearly 20 years on the hit BBC dance show. Bruno blamed his departure on COVID-19 complications and juggling commitments on both the UK and US versions of the programme.

But fellow panelist Craig reckons there’s another chapter to this story. The straight-talking BBC star teased he might spill the beans on “what really happened” during a Q&A session on his upcoming Revelations tour.

Turning 60 this year, Craig is keen to jazz up his career and delve into his passion for music. Egged on by his mum, Craig reckoned it was high time to drop a new album and kick off his Revelations tour, which will pay homage to legends like Shirley Bassey and feature him belting out tunes as Ursula The Sea Witch from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

Craig dropped a bombshell while speaking with Cat and Ben on This Morning about his impending tour. He said: “I will be doing a Q&A, and I am hoping that people will ask me the hardest questions,” according to Wales Online.

Ben was clearly gobsmacked, seeking the scoop: “So you’re literally going to open up the floor to the audience that comes in and say ‘anything you want to ask?'”

Craig confirmed with a nod: “Yes, they can, and they can also do it through texting, and they’ll text my lovely pianist Ben Goddard, who’s gorgeous, and we’re doing a couple of duets together, so it’s not just me and Shirley Bassey and Ursula.

“I am accepting anything, I will answer any question I am asked, whether it’s on Strictly, my personal life, anything.”

Cat gasped, “Wow,” probing, “Are you telling a few showbiz stories along the way?” only to be floored by Craig’s unfiltered comeback.

He started listing some of the juicy details he was ready to spill on tour, informing the hosts, “I’ll be talking about what Shirley Ballas was really like. I’ll be talking about why Bruno really left. ” He paused for effect, adding, “No one knows that, do they?” as the presenters gasped.

“Ohh, that might have been for money,” Craig confirmed with a broad grin.

His remarks seemed to be made in jest as the Strictly judge then professed his “love” for Bruno, fondly recalling a travel show they’d done together and declaring: “It was spectacular.”
