Former Love Island bombshell Maura has been keeping her head down after getting caught snogging fellow I’m A Celeb campmate Danny Jones, but has now moved onto her latest venture
Maura Higgins is to make big money in a new beauty deal alongside a huge A-lister.
The Irish babe, 34, has been rubbing noses with Hollywood royalty Margot Robbie in recent weeks. It comes after she was the centre of controversy after an awkward snog with fellow I’m A Celeb star Danny Jones – despite him being married.
Now, the former Love Island star is getting ready for her newest project as she tries to shake off the controversial kiss with her former ITV star. The deal has reportedly left her feeling “relieved”, as she is set to work with huge Hollywood names in her newest venture.
Maura is set to become the face of beauty company L’Oreal – after she blew bosses away with her successful promo campaign for rival make-up company MAC. She is now set to rake in a six-figure sum from the deal, and will be working with some of the top names in the industry.
As well as this, Maura is set to work alongside the likes of Kendall Jenner and Eva Longoria – all of whom have been the face of the legendary skincare company and made millions. Speaking to The Sun, a source said that the job could massively boost her career.
It comes as Maura tries to move from her awkward snog with McFly star Danny, who is married to wife Georgia.
The insider said that Maura is now hoping to put the incident behind her.
“Maura is extremely remorseful for what happened of course,” the source explained. “But she has been through a lot the last few weeks, with her friendship with Pete [Wicks] breaking down too.
“Maura is looking to move on and put it all behind her, so is relieved she can crack on with work and let that be her main priority,” they added. “She is currently thriving with numerous brand deals, TV opportunities and trips coming in thick and fast.”
The source went on to say that despite the scandal with Danny, Maura’s career is continuing to skyrocket, showing no sign of stopping. According to the insider, this has left Maura breathing a sigh of relief, as work drying up “was a worry”.
Iconic Irish babe Maura first burst onto our screens back in 2019 when she stirred up trouble in the Love Island villa. Since then, she has managed to carve a career out for herself, landing herself a host of TV and brand deals that have kept her in the public eye.
Her most recent TV stint came when she went into the jungle for I’m a Celebrity last year as a late arrival. Despite screaming her way through the competition, Maura eventually finished in seventh place.
