Stacey Dooley has made a bold confession about her intimate moments with husband Kevin Clifton after the pair welcomed their new daughter Minnie two years ago
Stacey Dooley has opened up on the struggles she faces with Strictly star husband Kevin Clifton.
The couple welcomed their daughter Minnie two years ago and the pair have embraced parenthood. However, Dooley has revealed that they still struggle with one major thing post-birth.
Chatting on the Parenting Hell podcast with Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe, she confessed that their bedroom antics have taken a nosedive since Minnie has been sleeping in their bed.
Stacey joked: “We need to start remembering how to have s**! Minnie is in our bed. I am sort of not really a****. I know there’s such emphasis on getting kids in their own bed, but I think it’s because Kev is away so much anyway.”
“What am I doing otherwise? Maybe when Kev is back on the scene, we will start remembering how you have s**, then maybe I would think: ‘Minnie, you’re going to have to go and hang out in your own bedroom now,'” reports the Mirror.
Stacey said that she and Kevin frequently find themselves exhausted from their hectic schedules, often opting for an early night’s sleep before anything romantic can begin.
She admitted: “Of an evening we’ll have something to eat, then I’ll put her in the bath. We have a bit of a chat, put her PJ’s on and we just end up getting in my bed together.”
“We watch one episode of Paddington then go to sleep. I am going to bed early, at 8pm. I love it, honestly!”
This comes shortly after the couple announced their upcoming appearance in the critically acclaimed paranormal stage drama 2:22 A Ghost Story.
Embarking on an extensive UK tour, the production is set to premiere at Manchester Opera House on August 4 and will run until November 2025.
The show will also visit Bristol, Glasgow, Sunderland, Milton Keynes, Malvern, Stoke-on-Trent, Brighton, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Guildford, Crawley, Southampton, Buxton, and Peterborough. Stacey will reprise her role as Jenny, which she previously played at the Gielgud Theatre in 2024, and will be joined on stage by her partner Kevin, who will portray Jenny’s husband Sam.
During a BBC Breakfast interview, the TV star revealed that she and Kevin plan to bring their daughter along on tour.
