Molly-Mae Hague has shared a sweet snap of her ex-fiance Tommy Fury alongside their daughter Bambi as she confirmed their relationship is back on a second family holiday
Molly-Mae Hague has confirmed that her romance with boxer Tommy Fury is back on after a second family retreat. The Love Island bombshell posted an pic of Tommy and Bambi during a Center Parcs stay in Sherwood Forest.
On Instagram Stories this Sunday, Molly-Mae showed a monochrome snap showing Tommy, 25, strolling hand-in-hand with their two-year-old Bambi. Despite the photo’s lack of colour, the sunlight streaming down on the father-daughter pair was unmistakable – and Tommy walked her down a tree-lined path.
Bambi tightly gripping her dad’s hand while sporting her hair in a cute updo. While Molly-Mae didn’t appear in the frame herself, she’d been dishing out vids and pics all weekend from their family time at the resort.
Molly confessed: “We’re just figuring things out,” followed by “We had a really really amazing time, probably the best holiday ever for all of us. It’s not I’m hiding it, I’m not quite ready to talk about it.
“It’s also as private, but also it’s not really private. When you have a relationship in the public eye, trying to rebuild that relationship or work on that relationship or see if you have something worth saving… You can’t figure things out the way a normal relationship would. You can’t do the normal things a couple trying to work on their relationship normally do.”, she said.
Speaking to Bambi, she added: “We’re just figuring things out and seeing how it goes.”
The nation watched Molly-Mae and Tommy fall in love when they appeared on ITV’s Love Island in 2019. Despite not winning their season – which was won by Amber Gill and Greg O’Shea – the pair coupled up and stayed together after the show ended.
Molly-Mae and Tommy quickly moved in together and started building their life. They welcomed Bambi in January 2023 and six months later Tommy proposed to Molly-Mae.
But strains started showing in the lovebirds’ tale when Tommy took off to a sports bash in the Middle East, leaving Molly-Mae solo parenting. Snaps surfaced of Tommy living it up with bikini-clad beauties,.
The pair seemed to weather the storm of gossip and carried on their love story through 2024. But last August, Molly-Mae dropped the bombshell that she had called it quits with Tommy.
Revealing the split to her followers, she penned an emotional missive: “Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this. After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.”
She went on to say: “I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority. I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years. You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.”
The couple continued to be spotted out and about together, fuelling rumours that their ‘split’ was a orchestrated PR gambit. Molly-Mae was in the midst of a reality show, eventually delivered through Amazon.
Responding with a sharp rebuke to murmurs that they were pulling the wool over their followers’ eyes, Molly-Mae made her feelings crystal clear in January this year: “I actually say in the documentary that I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would have been a lot easier… That for me above everything has been the most frustrating part.”
It does seem the couple are firmly back on track, having been seen getting cosy on numerous getaways.
A source dished out: “Friends of Molly and Tommy have been confused by Molly implying she’s a full-time single mum, as she and Tommy have been spending more time together and are rekindling their once almighty romance.”
