Celebrity Big Brother’s Ella Rae Wise has confirmed her split from Dan Edgar, sparking speculation among fans about a potential romance brewing between two housemates.
Fans are speculating that Ella might find love in the house, following her confirmation of her break up with co-star Dan Edgar, after they noticed a ‘huge clue’ during Monday night’s launch show.
The reality star from Essex expressed her heartbreak as she confirmed her split with Dancing on Ice star Dan just hours before entering the house.
“We are not together. And it’s really, really sad that we’re not together. We split up a week ago,” she disclosed to The Sun. “It has nothing to do with Big Brother. It was a decision that I had to make because I didn’t feel that we were getting things that we wanted out of each other. We can be best friends, but if something’s missing, what are we wasting our time for?”

The 24 year old then confessed that 34 year old Dan was “very set in his ways,” and she can’t expect him to change. “It’s just not enough for me,” she said, commenting on what he gives in a relationship.
Now, fans are predicting that Ella could strike up a new romance in the house, possibly with Love Island star Chris Hughes. One fan wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: “The way they put the camera straight on Chris when Ella came in they want a showmance… not subtle at all,” reports the Mirror.
Fans are already placing their bets on a potential love story in the Celebrity Big Brother house, with one viewer tweeting: “The camera IMMEDIATELY panning to Chris when Ella walked in lmao. They know what they’re doing,” and another chiming in: “Chris seeing Ella walk in the house. He’s going to go for her, isn’t he? #CBBUK”.

Chris, who famously made it to the Love Island 2017 finale with Olivia Attwood, expressed his excitement about the CBB experience: “I’m looking forward to the fact that it’s very much an unknown, to meeting new people, getting to spend time with people who are from very different environments to myself and the whole social experiment behind it – the whole Big Brother experience, really,” he spilled.
Ella’s on the same page, revealing her anticipation: “I think the most I’m looking forward to has to be meeting and getting to know new people and learning new things about myself and others, as well and being out of my comfort zone and under pressure, weirdly because I deal with pressure really well.
“She added, “I’m quite relaxed but it might be a bit different being in a house with loads of people that I normally wouldn’t spend time with, or know in normal day to day life.”
