Celebrity Big Brother viewers reckon the show’s hit its high point already after Chesney Hawkes bared all within minutes of the new series kicking off.
Last year saw ITV take over the reins of Big Brother in 2023, picking it up after Channel 5 gave it the boot five years earlier. The channel debuted their celeb-stuffed edition to fans for the first time ever.

With the series making a comeback on Monday (April 7), theres been tons of gossip about who’s going to be giving up the real world to muck in with this telly social experiment.
Broadcasting live from the digs on Monday (April 7), presenters AJ Odudu and Will Best welcomed Chesney as the first bod through the door, reports the Manchester Evening News.
“I am the one and only. I had absolutely no idea what was ahead of me when I released that song… I think my kids like my music, my son has to because he’s my guitar player,” he shared during his intro video.
Things got heated straight away when Chesney revealed he’s ‘a bit of a nudist’ and enjoys a good strip-down. The clip then switched to a starkers Chesney, clad in nothing but his axe and the iconic BB logo sparing his blushes.
Face-to-face with AJ and Will, Chesney cracked a joke that he’d ‘peaked early’, after being told he ‘showed us your cheeky side’.
A gobsmacked AJ came back with: “You never peaked too soon.” As Chesney made his exit, Will couldn’t resist a playful jibe at the singer, quipping to the audience: “He was the one and only, now he’s the wang and only.”
Viewers were gobsmacked by the cheeky moment and immediately stormed X, the social media platform once known as Twitter, to sound off their opinions.
One fan was quick on the draw, tweeting: “Chesney Hawkes earning his fee within seconds #CBBUK.”
Another added: “The one and only Chesney Hawkes! Good start for #CBBUK I absolutely love launch night!”.
A third chimed in with: “Chesney Hawkes getting his kit off, have we peaked already #CBBUK.”
A fourth couldn’t contain their excitement: “Chesney Hawkes naked 5 minutes into the show….reality tv is back! ! #CBBUK.”
A fifth shared their surprise: “I’ve already seen more of Chesney Hawkes than i needed #CBBUK #CelebrityBigBrother.”
Similarly, another tweeted about the immediate thrill of the show: “Show has been on for 4 minutes and I’ve speak seen Chesney Hawkes naked… What a series this is going to be #CBBUK.”
Upon setting foot inside the CBB house, Chesney was hit with a bizarre task – he had to greet the first four housemates as ‘the one and only Chesney Hawkes’, giving a nod to his legendary song.
