CBB AJ Odudu ‘put distance’ between Mickey Rourke after ‘personal space’ issue

EXCLUSIVE: Celebrity Big Brother kicked off on 7 April and in the opening episode, presenter AJ Odudu was forced to make space as Mickey Rourke twirled her, pulled her close and stared at her bottom

Celebrity Big Brother presenter AJ Odudu was forced to “create distance” between herself and Mickey Rourke during last night’s episode.

Speaking on behalf of casino.co.uk, body language expert Inbaal Honigman explained that presenter AJ Odudu moved away from Rourke to make space between them after he took her hand. Mickey gestured for her to twirl and then pulled her close to him, with presenter Will Best warning: “Careful Mickey!”

Rourke also stared at her rear so much that she was forced to exclaim: “Stop looking at me,” before he was ushered into the CBB house. However, his behaviour didn’t stop there as he turned to Odudu and said: “I want to stay with you!”

After analysing their interaction, Inbaal said: “Rourke was delighted at being introduced to AJ Odudu, twirling her and bumping her body to his with no regard for her personal space.”

She explained that this “could be a challenge for him inside the Celebrity Big Brother house” in the coming weeks as he navigates life in close proximity to his housemates

While Mickey is being introduced to the audience, presenter Will Best joins AJ on stage as the pair stand either side of The Wrestler star.

Inbaal noticed: “Mickey holds on to Will Best and AJ and then switch hands. The presenters hold on to the Hollywood star, so for a couple of moments, both presenters are in Mickey’s space.”

However, AJ took things a step further in an attempt for personal space: “Although, AJ puts some safe distance between herself and Rourke.”

Inbaal also explained that superstar Mickey Rourke was not feeling the nerves, but was still feeling apprehensive about entering the CBB house.

She said: “In his introduction, Mickey isn’t nervous, but he is guarded. He reclines in his seat, showing that he’s comfortable with the idea of going in the house.”

“However, his legs are crossed, and later we see that his hands are clenched together as well, so he is trying to hold something back.”

She noticed that Mickey “did something that none of the other celebs did” and “twirled his foot”.

“This is unusual and it means that he is restless. If he gets bored in the house, he might get cranky,” predicted Inbaal, who also pointed out that Rourke “nods lightly as he speaks” which she branded a “mark of honesty”.

The body language expert said that this indicates he “agreed with what he was saying”. She continued: “Not only is he not nervous, but he may also have not been nervous in decades, going by the patience that he has towards the people around him and towards himself.”

“He’s not in any rush to exit the car, to get to the stairs, to reply to each question, he’s happy taking life at his own speed. His hands in his coat pocket make him appear relaxed and perfectly at ease with his surroundings.”
