Celebrity Big Brother contestant Jojo Siwa opened up about a personal hardship on the show, involving a stalker who obsessed over the child star and even sent an explosive to her house
Jojo Siwa opened up about a horrific stalker experience, as a man sent a ‘bomb’ to her front door.
Appearing in Thursday’s Celebrity Big Brother, Jojo was asked about the weirdest package she received to her house while in the Diary Room. While smiling, Jojo replied “A bomb.” Appearing to break out in nervous laughter, Jojo continued to divulge she used to have a stalker when she was younger. The reality TV star has been on screens since she was young, after appearing in the US reality show, Dance Moms.
Jojo opened up: “I had a crazy, crazy, crazy stalker and he sent me loads of things.” Taking a brief pause, Jojo listed: “sex toys, knives.”
She continued: “But he sent me a bomb. A man made bomb.
“And that got him put in prison for five whole years.” Jojo laughed awkwardly before admitting: “I was little.”
She pondered for a few seconds before saying she was around 12-years-old when the incident occurred. “He got out when I was 17 so I would’ve been around 12.”
Jojo opened up about her emotions. “At the time it was very, very scary. Obviously now still, it’s very scary.
“But I have an incredible team around me who protect and handle things like that the way that they need to.”
Jojo concluded: “But yeah, scary.”
Fans flooded the comment section with appreciation for the star’s bravery. One wrote: “Only 5 years for sending someone (a 12 year old of all people) a bomb is absolutely wild.”
Another added: “Being 12 being sent those kinda things as a child is disgusting.” A third simply noted: “My winner.”
However, Jojo previously found herself in hot water over her close friendship with fellow housemate and former Love Island star, Chris Hughes. Viewers were all shocked after a sneaky livestream caught a saucy moment between Chris and JoJo in the show’s hidden hot tub haven.
While ITV watchers didn’t see this steamy scene during regular airings, sharp-eyed fans glued to the round-the-clock feed spotted Chris and JoJo getting rather snug as they bubbled away with some housemates.
In the latest snippet, Chris tenderly draped his arm around JoJo, planting two smackers on her forehead as she nestled against him – a sweet move that quickly found its way onto social media.
Fans flocked to X and Reddit to vent their views on the pair’s intimate actions: “I don’t care what anyone says anymore! ! ! ! Chris and JoJo’s relationship and how they act with one another is so inappropriate. Imagine JoJo’s girlfriend watching this. She’s not going to be okay with this behaviour,” one raged.
Another viewer was adamant, writing: “Chris knows exactly what he’s doing and it’s just f***ing weird at this point.”
