The last lot of tickets for Glastonbury Festival were up for grabs online over the weekend but quickly sold out, leaving many gutted party people empty-handed
Glastonbury fans have been left totally devastated.
Festivalgoers have missed out on snapping up the final resale tickets for this summer’s event after the last batch sold out within 20 minutes.
The official Glastonbury X/Twitter account posted an update explaining that all the festival tickets have gone: “On a morning of incredible demand, all of the tickets in today’s resale have now been sold. Thank you to everyone who bought one, and sorry to those who missed out.”
Disgruntled fans took to social media after attempting to get their hands on the coveted passes. One sad fan typed: “Absolutely gutted, got through to the payment page in around 18 mins and then it said sold out,” reports the Mirror.
Another said: “Me reading ‘All tickets are now sold out’ on the ticket queue page after failing to get them for the ninth year in a row,” with a cartoon gif of an angry cat.
Someone tried to turned the situation positive by writing: “New system is better than the old one. Still requires a lot of luck though,” while another person simply begged: “Just give me and the miss[u]s a ticket? Please?”
Many eager fans have been left without a ticket, instead forced to to catch the festival on telly while it takes place in June.
This year’s event boasts The 1975, Olivia Rodrigo, Neil Young, Rod Stewart and Charli XCX on the jam-packed lineup.

This year may look a little different for some avid music lovers as the new disposable vape ban will be coming into play from 1 June. If you and your friends are looking into alternative options for your nicotine moment this festival season brands such as Nordic Spirit offer nicotine pouches, perfect for those preparing for Glastonbury 2025.
Kneecap, a band set to play at Glastonbury this year, is facing calls to be dropped from the lineup. Footage reportedly shows the rap group telling fans to “kill your local MP” during a gig at Electric Ballroom in London.
They reportedly also added: “The only good Tory is a dead Tory.”
A spokesperson for the Met told the Mirror: “We were made aware of a video on 22 April, believed to be from an event in November 2024, and it has been referred to the Counter Terrorism Internet Referral Unit for assessment and to determine whether any further police investigation may be required.”
“We have also been made aware of another video believed to be from an event in November 2023.”
