Fans of the ITV dating show Love Island have called out series producers after many viewers noticed a reoccurring problem and took to social media to share their frustration
Love Island fans are fuming over one major series issue.
ITV viewers have gathered online to slam the dating show as X/Twitter has been flooded with tweets all calling out this year’s editing.
Fans claim that Alima and Remell are getting very little, if any, screen time and have joked that the pair are “missing from the villa”.
One person scathed: “Why are we getting ZERO air time of Alima and Remell???? Feel like the recoupling was the first time we’ve even seen them speak in a week.”
Someone else called out those working behind the scenes and wrote: “It’s clear that Alima and Remell have something nice going on but Production is working overtime to not show us. They really have limited screen time. It’s not fair.”
A third person chimed in: “Nah, Love Island producers have absolutely mocked it by not showing us any Remell & Alima scenes…no idea how they are even progressing until a recoupling speech??”
Others begged Love Island bosses to explain “why Alima and Remell are being left out,” noticed that fans are “being robbed of sweet content” between the pair and that the crew are “crazy for giving Alima zero screen time”.
Another person even hilariously made a Missing Person poster for “our girl Alima,” which included a line that read: “Status: M.I.A. [missing in action] from screen time, confessionals and plotlines [….] allegedly in the villa but might as well be in Narnia.”
The 23-year-old Scottish sweetheart is an OG islander and was introduced to audiences during the first episode, while 24-year-old Remell entered as a bombshell alongside Shea.
Alima and Remell are coupled up and have been getting to know each other, but disappointed viewers haven’t had a chance to watch their romance blossom as neither of them have had much screen time – both as a couple and solo.
