Oasis kick off their huge comeback tour with two nights at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, and now it seems like we know which bangers the band will be belting out
The set list for Oasis’ comeback tour appears to have been leaked.
The Gallagher brothers kick off their hotly anticipated Live ’25 tour on Friday (July 4) with their show at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. It will see Noel and Liam play on stage together for the first time in 16 years since the band split in 2009.
Fans were seen camping outside of the stadium and buying Oasis merch over 24 hours before the first of the band’s two dates (Friday and Saturday) at the venue. It’s believed around 150,000 people will be at the Cardiff shows.
And now it seems like we know which songs they’ll be singing their hearts out to. It’s believed the band will kick off their set with Acquiesce – the B-side to Some Might Say – the band’s first UK number one.
According to MailOnline, they’ll follow it up with Morning Glory, Some Might Say, Cigarettes & Alcohol and Fade Away before launching into Supersonic, their first ever single and Noel’s favourite Oasis song. After that it’s Roll With It, Bring It On Down, Talk Tonight, Half the World Away and Little by Little.
It’s said the latter part of the 23-song set list will include huge hits like Hello, Live Forever, Rock ‘N’ Roll Star, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall. The band are expected to close out their stadium shows with their iconic Champagne Supernova.
Doors will open at 5pm and support act Cast will take to the stage at 6pm. Richard Ashcroft will perform at 7pm and Oasis are due on stage at 8.15pm with a 10.30pm curfew.
Oasis split at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris in 2009 following a big backstage bust-up. Noel, 57, quit the group on August 28 2009, saying he “simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer”.
The brothers had traded digs for years before patching things up and getting the band back together. They delighted fans last August when they announced they were heading out on tour.
They delighted fans last August when they announced they were heading out on tour. They told fans “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
Liam has discussed how “spiritual” it’s been to reunite with Noel after feuding for years. One fan asked on X/Twitter: “How does it feel singing songs with ur brother again? Like old times? (sic)”.
The musician replied: “You know what it’s spiritual but I can’t help think about all those wasted years, what a waste of PRECIOUS time (sic).”
