TikTok badboy Mizzy makes major life change but ‘doesn’t regret’ brutal Piers Morgan interview

EXCLUSIVE: After rising to infamy for his childish pranks that saw him snatch a phone on an e-bike in 2022 and post videos of people without their consent, Mizzy is turning over a new leaf

Notorious internet badman Mizzy didn’t know who Piers Morgan was before he went on TalkTV to be grilled by the veteran presenter.

Now the prankster, real name Bacari-Bronze O’Garro, is turning his life around, having just welcomed his second child.

He was scared when he appeared on the episode of Piers Morgan Uncensored, but doesn’t regret it because it was all part of his “growth”.

“I don’t have regrets on [going on the show] – everything is a lesson,” he said.

“Everything that I’ve done in the past has made me the person I am today. To regret things means I’m regretting my past, my life story.

“So on Piers Morgan, I didn’t even know who he was at the start – I didn’t really keep up with the news stuff, so I just saw it as an opportunity to gain more engagement and interaction.

“But going on it, I was actually scared, it was the first time I’d been on TV and it was live, so I didn’t know how to act or react to certain situations.

“Piers Morgan, he was grilling me, yeah, but he grilled me to the point that I didn’t realise there were mistakes I was making and there’re certain things I could have said – even on the interview – that I could have approached differently to change public’s perspective, instead of trying to go for clips and trying to be a badman on the internet.”

He shot to infamy as a teenager after conducting a series of highly controversial and much-derided pranks on social media that ultimately led to him being jailed at a youth detention centre for 18 months for stealing a woman’s phone.

Now, the 20-year-old is looking to the future following the birth of his now four-week-old second child, who joins his two-year-old.

“My take on life now is just growth, responsibility and having a purpose – I’ve made a lot of mistakes and I’ve learned from them, and so I’m just focused on being grounded, on working.

“I’m a dad of two now, so I’ve just been working on my health, physically and mentally, going to the gym.

“I got my driver’s licence in March, and I’ve just been handling my own responsibilities. I’ve learned a lot in those two years of being off social media, and I think it was the best thing that could have happened to me.”

Now, he has spoken of the dangers of social media and the impact it can have on young peoples’ decision-making.

The Hackney-based dad continued: “I was all sucked into the illusion. It’s not about trying to please everyone, it’s about trying to be true to yourself and building something real. That’s where I’m at right now… there’s a lot of pressure to be someone you’re not, and I’ve seen first-hand how things can spiral.”

He says he’ll be back on social media to show off his new approach to life soon and is working on a number of projects while balancing working in construction and deciding on an area of that industry to specialise in. “I’m looking towards bricklaying, painting, or maybe flooring,” he said.

“The main thing I’m motivated by is my family, especially my newborn and my first child, because I’m focused on building a better future for myself and them. If I was going the way I was going, I probably would have ended up in jail for how long.

“Having these two young ones, I’m going to prove to myself and others I can do things the right way.”

He added: “The old Mizzy was impulsive and I made mistakes in the spotlight because I was figuring things out the hard way – today, I feel like I’m more focussed, grounded and responsible – I’ve learned from my past mistakes.

“I was thinking I would get fame from doing this, going viral, but I wasn’t thinking about the repercussions.”
