“A dog?” Huda had to specify: “I have a daughter”, leading to Nic’s bewildered follow-up: “Like in real life?” Yes, like a human child”, confirmed Huda.

Now, the ‘Love Island USA’ finalist has confessed his own bafflement over the “mamacita” remark, reports the Mirror US.

Chatting with E! News, he admitted: “I get very confused about how my brain works.

“Sometimes, I confuse myself.” He went on to describe his astonishment at the clip’s viral fame: “I’m trying to remember what conversation that was.

“And then I saw the video, and I’m like, ‘Oh yeah.’ I mean, I thought I was valid.” Yet his current flame Olandria Carthen, who joined him for the E! interview, didn’t hesitate to challenge Nic’s peculiar line of questioning.

Olandria couldn’t help but tease: “She’s telling you she’s a mommy, and a dog comes to mind? Mamacita comes to mind?” to which Nic retorted: “Well, if it was a dog, then I would have been right.”
