James Jordan heartbreak with pregnant wife Ola which 'cut him like a knife'

Dancing on Ice and Strictly star James Jordan has opened up about his relationship with Ola Jordan, and the struggles they have faced during their marriage.

James, 41, and Ola, 37, have been open about their struggles to conceive, but announced in September 2019 that they were expecting their first child.

Their baby is due in March, and the pair have spoken about going through IVF, which they did for three years before eventually falling pregnant before eventually going trying other options.

Ola fell pregnant during their first round in June, despite the doctor only giving them a 50 percent chance of being successful during their first try.

James told Hello! Magazine: “When the doctor explained the only route for us to get pregnant would be IVF, it was tough to process.

“It’s not something any couple ever thinks will happen to them.

“I’m so glad I get to see her become a mum because it’s all she’s ever really wanted.

“To me, she was the best dancer in the world. Now she will be, without doubt, the best mum.””

The professional dancer also revealed questions about the pair having a baby while they were struggling to conceive “cut like a knife”.

He said: “We know when people ask us about it, that it’s coming from a good place, and we understand people want us to have baby Jordans but each time we get asked about it, it cuts like a knife.”

Ola added: “We are a very close couple and always have been, but going through this has made us stronger than ever.”

James also revealed his excitement about becoming a father, saying: “We’ve been with each other for 20 years, married for 16, travelled the world, achieved amazing things in our careers: trophies, accolades, Ola won Strictly Come Dancing, I won Dancing On Ice.

“But finding out that we are pregnant is no doubt our biggest achievement ever.

“This is probably the most special and exciting thing that has ever happened to us.”
