Katie Price’s beloved pet pooch Sparkle has passed after running onto a busy road.
According to The Sun, the mum-of-five’s Alsatian escaped from her Sussex abode while she was away from the premises, and was struck by a vehicle in a freak accident on the A24.
It’s not the first time one of Katie’s pet has escaped from her property.
Bear, who is the half-sister of Sparkle, broke free from the reality TV star’s grounds last year.

Bear ended up on the London-to-Worthing dual carriageway that circles the 41-year-old’s home, but was picked up and returned to Katie by a passing police officer.
“Katie really needs to shore up her garden as it’s only a matter of time before something bad happens if the dogs keep escaping,” a source told The Sun Online at the time of the incident.
“Luckily motorists spotted the dogs and drove carefully while they were loose and a policeman was on hand to help out.”

However, her pooch Queenie wasn’t as lucky as she reportedly died in 2018 following a heartbreaking incident with a pizza delivery driver.
The publication claimed Queenie was allegedly mowed down by a takeaway employee who was dropping off pizza to a neighbour.
Katie was “devasted” by the sudden death of her dog, who was a present for her 38th birthday from then-husband Kieran Hayler, and rang up the pizzeria to complain.

However, the driver denied hitting the animal.
A year prior to Queenie’s untimely passing, one of Katie’s horses died after escaping from a field and finding itself on the A24.
