Curtis Pritchard ex Amy Hart takes huge swipe as Maura Higgins confirms their split

Amy Hart has revealed that she is still seeking therapy nine months after Curtis Pritchard “broke her heart” on Love Island.

The 26-year-old former flight attendant was the talk of season five back in 2019 after she was rejected by Curtis as he chose to couple up with Maura Higgins instead.

Nine months later, Amy has confessed she is still undertaking therapy after splitting with Curtis left her with “low self-esteem” but she doesn’t go as often as she’d like to due to a “busy schedule”.

Amy famously left the ITV dating show after she decided she didn’t want to be there to watch Curtis and ring girl Maura crack on.

The star, who is currently starring in Celeb’s Go Dating, told The Sun that she is still going to therapy nine months after the show ended.

She said: “Not as often as I would like because I’m so busy. I’m doing it about once a month.

“She has given my CBT tools to use and ways to help process things. I love it. I understand why Americans use them all the time.”

Delving into how it has helped her dating on her latest show, Amy said it has helped her understand its “not her who is the problem”.

She continued: “Therapy has really helped me understand it’s not me who is the problem.

“It’s not my fault I haven’t had a proper boyfriend it’s just that I haven’t found the one.

“I used to keep messaging guys who were really awful, my friends would tell me to block them and I would pretend I had and then still message them as soon as I was on my own.

“I would let boys treat me like s**t and still go back for more.”

Maura and Curtis announced today that they have split up but said they “tried to make it work”.

On the show tonight, Amy referenced her split as she spoke to Curtis’ other Love Island ex Francesca Allen.

She jibed: “”We weren’t in the villa at the same time, but we did have a shared villa experience because we both coupled up with Curtis.

“I wasted a lot more of my time than you did”.

The pair spoke about their shared experience with the lothario, as voiceover man Rob Beckett said: “You’ll probably see Curtis on the next series.”
