Paul Bettany Jokingly Blames His English Background in Response to 'Wandavision' Snotgate Saga

    Disney+

When appearing on ‘Good Morning America’, the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ actor fires back at co-star Elizabeth Olsen for accusing him of leaving snot on her lips during a kissing scene.

    Jan 14, 2021
AceShowbiz – Actor Paul Bettany has fired back at his “WandaVision” co-star Elizabeth Olsen after she accused him of leaving snot on her lips during a kissing scene.
The stars play an unlikely superhero couple in the new Disney+ series, which debuts on Friday, January 15, and during a TV interview earlier this week Olsen went public with the embarrassing moment, revealing it really made Bettany mad when she pointed it out.
But appearing on the same show, “Good Morning America”, on Wednesday, the Brit insisted the snot was Olsen’s – not his.
“(It’s a) gross miscarriage of justice,” he said. “During a kissing scene… snot appeared on both our lips, which is of course disgusting. I was a gentleman and kinda went away and pretended it didn’t happen and she, rather grumpily, pointed the finger at me.”

“I can prove categorically it was her snot, not my snot… If Elizabeth ‘Snotter’ Olsen – as I call her – were here today, she would be the first to tell you when she gets emotional in a scene her nose runs before the tears come, whereas I’m English… and unable to express emotion.”

Both stars, who have appeared in countless Marvel movies, have made it clear their outrage is just a fun line to help promote the new series.
In related news, Marvel boss Kevin Feige reacted to people calling the half-hour sitcom weird, at least compared to other Marvel shows. “Weird is good,” he said. “I like weird. After ‘Endgame’, after the completion of a 23-movie Infinity Saga, we were soul-searching about what was coming next. ‘WandaVision’ being our first for Disney+ is perfect. It was always about pushing the boundaries of storytelling, doing something we could only do with the narrative structure of television.”

'Teen Mom 2' Star Briana DeJesus Explains Mom's Racially Offensive Comments

    MTV

In a new interview, the MTV personality defends her mom Roxanne, insisting that her ‘mom is not racist,’ after she’s being accused of using racial slur in one episode.

    Jan 14, 2021
AceShowbiz – Briana DeJesus has broken her silence on her mom’s usage on racial slurs in the December 29, 2020 episode of “Teen Mom 2”. In a new interview with PEOPLE on Wednesday, January 13, the MTV personality defended her mom Roxanne, insisting that her “mom is not racist.”
She also said that her “mom did not use that word” in an uncensored version of the MTV stars’ conversation about her ex Devoin Austin from the episode. “It’s so frustrating for people to think that my mom would say that word or would be that type of person when she has been Devoin’s biggest supporter,” she added.
Roxanne also weighed in on the allegations. “I’ve been really sad and really emotional about it, because we’re talking about Devoin,” so she shared. “I didn’t say it, clearly it’s there. It doesn’t work out for anybody when you assume. I love Devoin and will always have his back. I will always want the best for him. And it just breaks my heart to think that this happened.”

The mom and daughter duo also shared that they’ll be supporting each other amid the scandal. “We’re on this journey together. Some way, somehow, we have to make it work for Nova,” she said, referring to Briana and Devoin’s nine-year-old daughter. “This doesn’t affect me or Briana as much as it will affect Nova. I just need him to relax, calm down, and it’ll all work out in the end.”
She continued, “I always work on a relationship with him — no matter how disappointed or angry or hurt I am, Devoin and Nova’s relationship, to me, is priority number one. It’s not about us, it’s about Nova, the biracial child. She knows about both races, she loves both sides of the family, and we won’t let anything change that.”
In the said uncensored clip, Roxanne could be seen exploding after Devoin leaked her cellphone number online and used a curse word, which was previously bleeped out in the original episode since it violated FCC guidelines. “Next they’ll be knocking on our f***ing door because this d*** gave out your information,” so Roxanne said in the clip.

Phil Collins' Ex-Wife Being Eyed for Potential 'Real Housewives of Miami' Reboot

    WENN/Johnny Louis

Bravo is said to be ‘having preliminary conversations for a potential return’ of the show with Orianne Cevey being claimed to be among those in the running for the new cast.

    Jan 14, 2021
AceShowbiz – Phil Collins’ ex-wife Orianne Cevey is reportedly being lined up for a potential reboot of “The Real Housewives of Miami”.
According to the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six, U.S. TV network Bravo is “revisiting” the show – which initially ran from 2011 to 2013 and made household names of stars including Larsa Pippen – and having “preliminary conversations for a potential return.”
Sources told the outlet that bosses are considering bringing back some former cast members, as well as adding some new faces – with Cevey among those in the running.

      See also…

Page Six added that singer Paulina Rubio is also apparently among the potential stars set to be cast in the reboot.
Cevey has hit headlines in recent months due to Collins suing her and her current husband Thomas Bates to try and evict them from the property he claims he still owns. She was initially married to Collins from 1999 to 2008 and after they split, Cevey went on to marry Charles Mejjati, before reuniting with Collins in 2015.
Cevey secretly married Thomas Bates, 31, a month after splitting from Collins this summer, and while the drummer initially tried to evict the pair, they have now reached an agreement that the couple will move out of the house in January and it is now up for sale.
In her court documents, Cevey claimed that before they reunited, Collins told her he would give her half of their new home if she divorced Charles and gave up her stake in their $20 million Miami estate. She has accused him of going back on the promise.
