Presenter Davina McCall is so ashamed of farting she has never let one go in her fella’s presence.
The 53-year-old TV star has been dating hair stylist Michael Douglas since the summer of 2019.
But the former Big Brother host has avoided breaking wind in front of him as she wants to remain ladylike.
She said: “Michael has never heard me fart. That will never happen. There is shame for me.”
Michael, 46, confirmed Davina can control her flatulence while awake but does let loose a few bottom “tsunamis” when she is asleep.

He said: “You have let go in your sleep a couple of times. Occasionally, I can sense a rumble and then there’s the tsunami.”
Davina has had a lifelong fart phobia and still cringes over a botty burp that happened when she was filming dating show Ski Mate in the 1990s.
She was in Courchevel in the French Alps trying to do a piece to camera when she lost control.
Davina recalled: “I had to run towards the camera and the last metre was me sliding in the snow and going: ‘Ski Mate!’

“As I slid I farted but it wasn’t just a silent one, it was a proper one. It was like a thunder clap.”
The crew did not believe that it was a “snow squeak” and never let her forget it. She added: “It ended up as the Christmas party video for every crew that’s ever worked on the show.”
Davina split from her ex-husband Matthew Robertson in 2017 after 17 years of marriage, and she credited that for her weight loss and fitness transformation.
She said: “It’s called the divorce diet, where you just literally shed [weight]. It happens to so many people I know.
“It was nothing I did. I was just running on adrenaline. Quiet a few people [understood] and were like, ‘I think she’s having a hard time, maybe we should lay off.’
“But there were lots of people who didn’t. There are some really mean people out there and there are also some very uninformed people who don’t think about the story behind the sadness.”
