Jesy Nelson has been a key part of Little Mix’s inception from it’s launch in 2011.
The band has become one of the biggest ever girl group’s Britain, scoring number one hits including Wings, Black Magic and Shout Out To My Ex.
It was a huge shock to many when Jesy, 29, announced yesterday that she was leaving as it was time to “embark on a new chapter”.
Jesy confessed that amid the band’s global success she had been struggling with her mental health.
It came after she revealed last month that she was taking an “extended” break from the pop group for “private medical reasons”, Mirror Online reports.
As Little Mix announced they will continue as a trio despite the departure of Jesy, Daily Star looks at the tell-tale signs she was leaving the group.

Jesy missing from The Search final
Jesy pulled out of the final of Little Mix’s talent show The Search last month – with the announcement coming just hours before the live final.
It was announced by presenter Chris Ramsay Jesy would be watching the show from home because she wasn’t feeling well.
Chris said: “Unfortunately Jesy is unwell tonight, so won’t be joining us but she will be rooting for all of the groups from home.”
Her rep also confirmed she would not be appearing on the show.
The rep for Jesy said: “Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight’s final of Little Mix The Search.
“She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow’s MTV EMAs.”

Jesy has no writing credits on any of the tracks on the group’s latest album Confetti.
This will be the last album that features all four singers, as the new trio have confirmed they’re going to carry on without her.
Despite the singer not having any credits, her band mates Leigh-Anne, Perrie and Jade have all contributed in some way to the content on the 13-track album

Fans of Jesy said they were concerned about the star just days after her not appearing on the final of The Search, saying she looked “just over it”.
Her followers rushed to comment on social media about the now-deleted promotional video featuring Jesy, which showed her looking less excited about the new Little Mix album than her bandmates.
One fan wrote at the time: “Jesy truly gives zero f***s. they literally filmed well over 20 videos she was DONE.”
“The way Perrie is crying and Jesy is over it. I’d feel that way too if I just dropped a solid album with no skips #Confetti,” wrote another.
Jesy’s autograph left off signed copies of new album
Jesy’s signature was left off the signed merchandise for the band’s new album Confetti.
Fans on Twitter were quick to notice Jesy’s signature was nowhere to be seen on the merchandise.
One wrote: “@LittleMix Loving the album so far! Although SO gutted as I ordered the signed CD from @amazon and it’s arrived today although it’s missing Jesy’s signature!*cries in palms*.”
Another baffled fan said: “I ordered this for my daughter’s Christmas present and the same has happened to her one.”
Star cries during during Radio 1 performance
Fans of Jesy were concerned for her welfare after she started crying during her BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge performance in September.
Her band mates went on to complete the performance.
The star later explained on social media she had a ‘panic attack’ while preparing to appear on the show.
She wrote: “So my nerves got the better of me today.
“I had panic attack right before we were about to sing this for live lounge today and like a pro @perrieedwards jumped in for my part last minute and smashed it.”
