I'm A Celebrity line-up: Full list of stars heading to Welsh castle 'exposed'

I’m A Celebrity will be returning in little over a week, with presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly revealing who the campmates are on Sunday in a special episode.

The ITV show will take place in Gwrych Castle in North Wales this year instead of the normal filming location of Australia due to the coronavirus pandemic.

But who will be gracing the camp when the show kicks off on November 15? And will any wild card contestants be introduced a few days into the series?

There has been a host of names who are rumoured to be battling it out for the I’m a Celeb crown, although ITV has refused to confirm who is featuring on the show, these are the stars who have been ‘exposed’ as appearing.

Daily Star Online now takes a look at what famous faces are likely to feature on this year’s show.

Mo Farah

Britain’s most celebrated Olympian Mo Farah is one of the biggest stars believed to have been signed up to participate in the upcoming series.

Mo is said to be nervous about facing the gruesome trials and being separated from his loved ones – but thinks it’ll be an amazing experience.

Speaking to The Sun, an insider said: “Mo’s been a big fan of the show for years and was just waiting for the right time in his career to do it.

“He obviously has an excellent level of fitness and mental focus so will be great at the Bushtucker Trials and will be a positive addition for keeping up team morale for campmates – especially as a lot of the celebs are worried how cold it will be.”

Giovanna Fletcher

Author Giovanna Fletcher is pals with Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and is know for mixing with the elite.

Giovanna is also a successful actress, presenter, author as well as podcast host.

The author is married to McFly singer and guitarist, Tom Fletcher.

Her pals included Matt Willis and Tom’s bandmate Dougie Poynter who have previously won I’m a Celeb – so they may have given her some tips on how to succeed.

Shane Richie

Shane Richie is famed for his role of Alfie Moon on the BBC soap EastEnders,

He often performs in pantomimes across the country in the run up to Christmas but this year he will be swapping the stage for North Wales.

Speaking about the show’s latest signing, an insider revealed to The Sun: “ITV have always wanted Shane for the jungle but with panto not happening this year and other work opportunities less likely, he decided this was the time to take the plunge.

“Going to North Wales is less of a huge commitment than flying halfway across the world, too, so he jumped at the chance.”

Ruthie Henshall

West end veteran Ruthie Henshall starred in Miss Saigon and Chicago.

The star has previously been linked to royalty having been in a relationship with Prince Edward.

She told Desert Island Discs in 2008 that she ‘fell in love with the royal’ but nothing was ‘more important than the stage’.

Victoria Derbyshire

Veteran BBC broadcaster Victoria Derbyshire is believed to be “looking forward” to the infamous Bushtucker Trials that sees celebrities surrounded by creepy crawlies.

Her daily talk show was decommissioned by the BBC several months ago.

Beverley Callard

Beverley, 63, disappeared from Corrie earlier this year and later revealed she needed a full hip replacement.

As the star is still recovering from her surgery she may struggle to take part in the challenges ITV producers are likely to plan for the show.

Vernon Kay

The Family Fortunes presenter, 46, has reportedly signed an £250,000 deal to appear on I’m A Celebrity.

He was last month spotted heading into a London studio for what was alleged to be a promotional photoshoot for the hit ITV series.

It is claimed Vernon has been approached several times in the past, but ITV bosses have only just managed to sign him up.

AJ Pritchard

AJ Pritchard quit Strictly Come Dancing this year and now is swapping sparkly outfits for the the rugged landscape of North Wales.

A source said AJ has a “huge fanbase from Strictly”, and is “really grateful’ for the opportunity it afforded him but “wants to show people” there is a lot more to him.

They added “bosses think he would be a great addition to the cast” and it “always helps to secure a heartthrob” to draw in “much-needed younger viewers”.

Appearing in reality TV shows runs in the family as his brother Curtis enjoyed success on Love Island.

Jessica Plummer

EastEnders star Jessica Plummer is a hot favourite after her dark domestic abuse storyline gripped viewers.

A source said: “Soap stars always do well in the show. Just look at Jessica’s Enders’ predecessor Jacqueline Jossa last year.

“Bosses are delighted to be able to convince her to take part.

“It’s a great move for both parties as she’s just left the soap and this is a great opportunity for her personality to be shown to millions.

“She hopes it will be a real stepping stone for her career.”

Russell Watson

Opera singer Russell is rumoured to be pocketing £100,000 for appearing on this year’s show.

He said he would need the cash because of a huge dip in earnings he’s had this year due to the pandemic.

When asked if he would like to feature on the show he said “yeah it would be lovely,” – adding: “not been paid for doing anything else this year!”

Hollie Arnold

The 26-year-old is a record-breaking javelin athlete who set a world record at the Rio Paralympics in 2016.

She’s also represented Britain at the 2017 World Championships and 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Hollie, 26, was spotted at a photoshoot for the programme at a London venue with other stars who are rumoured to be taking part.

Keith Duffy

Former Boyzone star Keith Duffy was asked by ITV bosses to take part in the 2020 line-up earlier this year, but was on tour with Brian McFadden, according to The Sun.

It is claimed he then backtracked and took ITV’s offer after his tour was pushed back.

A source said: “Keith has had Zoom meetings with I’m A Celebrity’s booker.

“Since the location moved from Australia to North Wales it’s been a little more tricky to get people on board but the team are confident they sold it well.”

Jordan North

Radio 1 DJ’s Jordan North, 30, is said to be the final name added to the celebrity lineup for this year’s show.

He is also the main cover presenter for Scott Mills and Nick Grimshaw.

Jordan began his own podcast in 2018 named “Help I Sexted My Boss” in which he helps listeners with their dilemmas.
