Prince Harry may have used his clout to insist that the hit Netflix show The Crown finished before reaching his time in the Royal Family, a royal biographer has claimed.
Harry and his wife Meghan Markle signed a bombshell multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix and are expected to produce numerous works of entertainment for the streaming giant next year.
According to royal author Angela Levin, The Crown may have been a big part of the negotiations.
In an interview with talkRADIO, Angela said she wasn’t the “least bit interested” in watching The Crown, but when she went to Kensington Palace to interview Prince Harry two years ago, he immediately asked if she watched it.

“I mumbled and said I wasn’t on Netflix,” she recalled.
When she asked Prince Harry if he and the Royal Family watched it, he allegedly said, “We’re all watching absolutely everything but I’m going to insist it stops before it reaches me.”
She then branded Harry “disloyal and rude” for partnering up with Netflix and accused the company of “ridiculing his father, his mother, and his grandmother” with The Crown.
Yesterday, Angela told ITV’s Good Morning Britain that she thinks Prince Harry and Meghan could be out of their depth with Netflix.
She said: “I think they’re being naive as they have been about lots of things in that they don’t realise that a big company like Netflix is going to want its pint of blood.
“They’re going to delve in and get a lot of information that will absolutely decry the Royal Family.”
She also told the show: “He’s almost unrecognisable from Prince Harry I spent a lot of time with.
“But I think, you know, Meghan is desperate to earn lots of money and Netflix offered them something.”
Daily Star has contacted a rep for Harry for comment and Netflix.
