I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Russell Watson was diagnosed with two brain tumours in 2006 but the tenor predicted his future decades before.
The Salford-born operatic-style singer was dealt the shattering blow when doctors confirmed his worst nightmares had come true, more than once.
Russell, 53, admitted that during his younger years, he often dreamt about “explosions” in his head, while he lay sleeping.
During an appearance on Loose Women, the dad-of-two relived his horror – a decade after battling cancer on his brain.
“It’s a bit weird – when I was a kid I used to have nightmares about explosions in my head,

“So, when I was sat being told I had this great big lump in my skull I knew this [the haemorrhage] was going to happen,” he revealed.
Speaking about his horrifying news, Russell recalled receiving his diagnosis during a working trip to Los Angeles.
“The first was in Los Angeles, we were making a record at Capitol Studios and I remember getting diagnosed in America.

“I was sat in the surgery and this doctor went. ‘Mr. Watson, you have a tumour… and from the looks of it, it’s a big one!,'”he shared.
Despite undergoing surgery to have the tumour removed, he faced more agony when he discovered a second had grown on his brain – which was removed the day before he turned 40.
He told how the second tumour almost cost him his life: “I nearly died, my tumour haemorrhaged and I ended up in intensive care.”

During an emotional interview with The Mirror in 2015, the singer who became known after performing at Working Men’s Clubs across Manchester admitted that he was carted off to hospital by medics after his tumours began to bleed.
“I went to bed one night and I didn’t wake up in the morning. I was carted down the stairs by two paramedics with a chap saying, ‘Stay with us, mate’.
“After that, there was a period of time when I would go to bed at night and wonder if I would wake up.”
Russell now takes a cocktail of medication in order to replace hormones that his body is no longer able to create.
