Dancing on Ice's Myleene Klass eliminated in skate-off after unanimous decision

Dancing on Ice fans were left reeling as they watched celeb contestants Lady Leshurr and Myleene Klass battle it out during the skate-off on Sunday night.

It resulted in Myleene being the first to be booted off the ITV dancing competition this year after the judges reached a unanimous decision.

It comes after rapper Lady Leshurr scored lowest with the judges last week and was therefore up for the public vote this week.

After Myleene’s performance tonight, she sadly joined Lady Leshurr in being up against the public to see who would be kept in the competition with her dance partner Lukasz Rozycki.

Lady Leshurr was first up on the ice as she stunned in a teeny little red dress with dance partner Brendyn Hatfield.

The star said she was “spinning” after the performance as she has a knee and groin injury.

Presenter Holly Willoughby said: “You came out fighting tonight.”

Myleene then took to the ice which saw Holly clapping and shouting, “well done you two!”.

Judge Ashley Banjo, Christopher Dean and John Barrowman decided to save Lady Leshurr.

This resulted in Myleene being immediately kicked out of the competition as she became the first star to be evicted.

Myleene and her dance partner remained in good spirits as they skated off the ice for the last time while smiling and waving at the small audience of their fellow celebs.

Upon leaving, Myleene said: “I couldn’t have done it without Lukasz and my family and my friends.

“I had never skated before, I’ve got a skill that I learned in lockdown, who would have thought it?

“To all the crew, it’s not been an easy production to put together in lockdown. I feel really chuffed.”
