Jessie J reveals she's single after splitting from boyfriend Max Pham Nguyen

Award-winning singer Jessie J has confirmed that her relationship with Max Pham Nguyen has come to an end.

Speaking openly to her fans regarding her romance with her former boyfriend Max, Jessie, 33, informed them that they are now “just friends”.

The Price Tag singer began her whirlwind romance seven months ago after her publicised split with actor American Channing Tatum.

However, Jessie has now revealed that things just didn’t work out between herself and Max.

Taking to Instagram to participate in a fan Q&A session, the star was quizzed about her relationship status.

She said “Open, happy and loving myself.

“Max and I have been just friends for a while now. Nothing dramatic happened”

Jessie then went on to sing Max’s praises while telling her supporters to not overact regarding the news.

She continued: “He is an amazing man. We both have so much respect and love for each other. It just wasn’t right romantically. So we decided just friends it is.”

The Bang Bang singer then explained that the “only reason” she’s willing to talk about it” is because it becomes weird and a “little difficult when people live in your past”.

She also expressed: “I hate how much of a big deal other people can make your personal breakups.

“We are both happy, living and loving our lives.”

Jessie then moved on from the subject of relationships and mentioned that she will be using her Sunday morning to work out, make a roast dinner and write a brand new song.

After splitting from Magic Mike actor Channing in October last year, Jessie and Max were linked shortly after.

However fans believed that Jessie and Channing were trying to rekindle their relationship after rumours emerged that the pair were living together during the lockdown period.

Despite this, to her follower’s surprise, Jessie put an end to any speculations when she confirmed that she was enjoying “single life in a pandemic” during an Instagram Q&A.

The former voice judge previously took a break from her social media platforms to recover from her painful illness.

Last year, Jessie revealed that she had been diagnosed with Ménière’s disease. The condition can impact the ear and can cause vertigo.

Jessie revealed that the disease can cause her to sob for hours due to the intolerable pain.
