Love Island star Teddy Soares is set to strip off for ITV as the star becomes the first of the 2021 cast to land a major primetime deal after leaving the villa
The 26-year-old, has signed up to strip off in Strictly The Real Full Monty – which will focus on raising awareness for life-saving cancer checks.
For the second year in a row, the Strictly Come Dancing themed strip-tease dance extravaganza will see men and women join forces for the worthwhile cause, according to The Sun.
ITV said of the upcoming performance: “Ashley Banjo is back with a bang to lead a brand-new line-up of brave celebrities ready to take the strip to a whole new level.
“Bringing old glitz and glamour to the all-new super-sized strip, this is a Monty glitter ball dance extravaganza,” they added of the Blackpool show
Soares, who place third on the reality show with Devon native Faye Winters, will appear alongside former Love Island star Demi Jones, who has spoken publicly about her battle with thyroid cancer.
Demi, 23, revealed she had to have a golf-ball sized tumour removed in April 2020, leaving her with a two-inch scar across her neck.
Demi told The Zeze Mills Show: “When I first found out it could be cancerous, I was in shock and I was crying because I went on social media, and I shouldn’t have done that because I hadn’t even told my family yet.”
The broadcasters have told audiences to “expect the unexpected” from the 12 new celebrity recruits in the “most ambitious Full Monty yet”.
Love Island stars are no stranger to stripping off for the ITV show.
Last year saw Shaughna Phillips and Chris Hughes take part in a similar strip tease for cancer awareness.
Teddy was last spotted appearing on the red carpet with girlfriend Faye at the National Television Awards.
The couple appears to have moved on from their drama on the show – which saw Faye explode into a foul-mouthed rant sparking 25,000 complaints.
Earlier this month, the happy couple were seen hitting the dance floor with their fellow Love Islander’s at pal Liberty Poole’s birthday.
