Piers Morgan marked Prince William and Kate Middleton’s tenth wedding anniversary by sharing an unseen snap with fans.
The former Good Morning Britain host logged into his Instagram account on Thursday to send a sweet message to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who tied the knot at Westminster Abbey on April 29 2011.
As well as the message, Piers also posted a previously unseen snap of himself and television presenter Cat Deeley.
The pair looked stunned as they pointed towards the Aston Martin with the happy couple inside.
Piers and SMTV star Cat,44, were live on CNN reporting on the Royal Wedding alongside American journalist Anderson Cooper.
Piers penned: “”#tbt 10 years ago today, @catdeeley and me were live on @cnn anchoring the Royal Wedding with @andersoncooper when we suddenly spotted Prince William and his new bride Kate fleeing Buckingham Palace in Prince Charles’ vintage Aston Martin.
“The crowd went nuts. Fabulously unexpected end to a great day. Happy Anniversary @kensingtonroyal.”
Unsurpingsly, Piers’ snap caught the attention of his 1.6 followers, with some rushing to reminisce about the big day in the comment section.
One fan penned:”They both are a credit to the royal family.”
Another added: “What a lovely day that was & what a natural couple.”
A third person shared: “Truly fantastic day and wonderful inspiring couple.”
While a fourth social media user said: Gorgeous couple and a beautiful wedding.”
It was announced on Thursday that Alastar Campbell is stepping into Piers’ shoes as a guest presenter on Good Morning Britain next week.
The ex-right hand man to former Prime Minister Tony Blair will be alongside Susanna Reid from Monday 10th until Wednesday 12th May.
Addressing the role, Alastair assured viewers he has no intention to become the “new Piers Morgan,” sharing pictures from his first day on the set.
He said: “So weird to be wearing suit and tie. Been in at @GMB checking the presenter chair and seeing if I can cope with the tech! And no I am NOT the new @piersmorgan BUT I will be presenting alongside @susannareid100 May 10-12 thru Mental Health Awareness Week.
“In addition to usual news, views and interviews hoping to draw attention to MH Issues which GMB have long championed. But also keen to get stuck in on all the big political stories post May 6 elections.

Piers’ seat has been filled by a rotation of presenters since his sudden exit in early March, with the likes of Ranvir Singh, Adil Ray and Ben Shephard taking his place.
The outspoken broadcaster stepped down from the role on March 9 following a backlash against his coverage of Prince William’s sister-in-law Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey
