Greg Rutherford has welcomed his third child with fiancée Susie Verrill, with a little girl joining their growing family.
The Olympian, 34, announced the arrival of their daughter on Thursday, admitting it had been an “incredible week” for their clan.
While Greg held back on sharing the baby’s name at first, now, the former Strictly Come Dancing star has revealed her name is Daphne.
Sharing some adorable family photos with his fans, little Daphne could be seen cocooned in a white fluffy blanket, staring at the camera.
Proud dad Greg wrote: “Welcome to the world my darling Daphne.
“Thank you so much for your wonderful messages. We’re so happy she’s here and stealing our hearts.”
Already parents to two little boys, Milo and Rex, Susie confirmed her daughter’s arrival with a picture of the newborn’s feet, with a hospital band wrapped around one ankle.
She said: “We’ve been settling in with the new arrival at home for a few days now and couldn’t be happier.
“Baby spam will no doubt be imminent but in the meantime here’s some freshly born tootsies.”
Greg and Susie confirmed they were expecting their third child together in December, admitting it had been a “difficult” pregnancy.
Susie told fans: “Really happy to share we’ve got someone new joining the family early next year.
“The boys are very excited to meet their sister and we’ve been buying lots of miniature pairs of tights. It’s been another difficult HG pregnancy and a long, tough road to get here but we’re so very grateful.”
Greg got on bended knee in 2019, asking long-term partner Susie to marry him while trekking on top of a rocky trail in Phoenix, Arizona.
The lovebirds first started dating in 2012, eventually settling with their brood in a town on the outskirts of Milton Keynes.
