The Chase descended into chaos after Mark Labbett – aka The Beast – accidentally pressed the wrong answer.

As the question popped up, the bell sounded to alert that Mark had made his choice way before contestant Kenny had even had a chance to contemplate.

Reading the questionm presenter Bradley Walsh said: “Georgia’s longest international boarder is with what country?”

The Beast, 56, told the host: “Ohhh I didn’t mean to press. I’ve got no idea what I have pressed.

“First time I’ve done that.”

Kenny sailed through to the next round after The Beast made a mistake

Brad said to Kenny: “You’ve put Russia,” adding “I mean it’s got to be init?”

Mark who accidentally answered “Armenia” interjected: “I will say now I would have picked ‘Turkey’ but I have no idea what I actually pressed.”

“Really, that’s interesting”, the host then added: “To go through with £4,000 Kenny, you’ve put Russia, lets see what it is.”

The Beast held up his hands admitting the error

Unveiling that the answer to be Russia, Bradley turned to the Chaser for his view on what had happened.

“I would have said Turkey, I don’t know what I actually pressed though,” repeated The Beast.

“Ohh it did matter,” joked The Beast.

The Beast faced three contestants in the final round

Kenny sailed through to the final round joining Tom who had already made it back.

Next up, Katy who was just 19 took to the stage putting on an outstanding performance and united with Tom and Kenny in the final round against The Beast.

It proved to be an intense final, with all three players answering 18 questions correctly.
