BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty has praised a “kind and thoughtful” fan after they surprised her with a very sweet gesture.
The star had been enjoying a day of golf this week, and took to Twitter to reply to a fan who had confessed they’d paid for her parking.
The generous fan tweeted: “Hope you had a nice round of golf. Hope it was the right car we paid parking for.”

Naga, 47, replied: “Thank you. So kind and thoughtful. That made my day! xx.”
It was confirmed earlier this year that Naga is one of the BBC’s highest paid stars – however it’s clear kind gestures like this go down very well with her.
The BBC released it’s annual report in July which confirmed the pay for its biggest names, and whether it had increased or fallen year on year.
Naga, who works on Panorama and Radio 5 Live as well as BBC Breakfast, saw her salary increase by a whopping £100,000 this year.
The BBC confirmed she now earns from £365,000 to £369,999 for her work with the channel.
The previous year she earned £255,000 to £259,999, while the year before she was on £195,000 to £199,999.
Her former co-star Dan Walker had been paid more than her in 2020/2021, at £295,000 to £295,999, however his earnings with the BBC dropped the following year due to him leaving the channel.
Dan quit Football Focus in June 2021 and then BBC Breakfast in April of this year, heading to Channel 5 instead.
He was paid £220,000 to £224,999 for his work with the BBC in 2021/2022.
Meanwhile, fellow BBC Breakfast star Charlie Stayt was paid £190,000 to £194,999.
In comparison, the highest paid BBC star again was Match of the Day presenter Gary Lineker.
The sportsman saw his salary drop year on year – however it was still nothing to be scoffed at, with him being paid £1.35m.
Zoe Ball was the highest paid female star for her role on Radio 2, raking in £980,000 to £984,999.
