EastEnders fans are fearing for Kheerat Panesar’s safety after Gray Atkins confessed to the murder of his late wife Chantelle Atkins.
During Monday’s instalment of the popular BBC One soap, viewers were sitting on the edge of their seats as the businessman went to extreme lengths to try and the new dad to confess to his crimes.
The former friends locked horns during the tense half hour episode as they argued over the death of the late Chantelle when Gray worked out that Kheerat has been sending him hoax emails from Chantelle’s email.
But after a tense argument the serial killer finally confessed to the tragic murder as the pair started throwing fists around the London apartment.

While Chelsea visited her son Jordan in hospital, Gray invited Kheerat over to talk things through properly.
While Gray anxiously poured a glass of whiskey for them both he opened up about his concerns that someone was watching him in the Square.
As they talked over Chantelle’s disappearance, Kheerat joked that at least no one was accusing him of killing his late wife while he suspiciously took a sip from his glass.

It was at this point that Gray pulled out a brown envelope filled with print outs of anonymous posts on an online forums which accused the legal worker of killing Chantelle.
As he slid the folder over, he explained that “these came in the post” meaning the anonymous author knows where they live.
He explained: “Someone out there thinks I killed Chantelle and you know what? They’re right.”

Fans soon flooded to Twitter to share their fears for Kheerat online as he struggled to hold his own in a fist fight against Gray.
One user wrote: “#EastEnders Ohhh! Gray’s confessed! LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!”
Another feared: “Gray is gonna kill Kheerat isn’t he#EastEnders” while a third agreed: “Kheerat is going to die #EastEnders.”
Meanwhile, another fan of the show warned: “You’re falling right into his trap Kheerat #EastEnders.”
