Strictly Come Dancing star Hamza Yassin is being backed to win by a former contestant.
EastEnders actress Kelle Bright has revealed she’d like to see the cameraman and his partner Jowita Pryzstal take home the glitterball trophy.
The Linda Carter star took part in the BBC competition back in 2015 and reached the final with partner Kevin Clifton.

Sharing who she’d like to see be crowned Strictly 2022 winner, Kellie told Daily Star: “I have to say my favourite is Hamza, I just love him.
“He’s so fantastic. I’d like him to win.
“Strictly was one of those for me that the little girl inside of me wanted to do it. I wanted to wear the nice dresses and I wanted to learn the dances. It felt like a lovely thing to put myself through.”
Countryfile star Hamza and Jowita scored 37 points out of a possible 40 for their Argentine Tango at the weekend.
Initial feedback to the routine was very positive, with head judge Shirley Ballas heaping praise on both of them.
However, things took a turn for the worse when Anton Du Beke gave his thoughts, taking an altogether dimmer view on the dance set to Libertango by Bond.
Kellie supporting Hamza follows the news that Strictly’s quarter-finals will air this Friday (December 2) night instead of its usual Saturday evening slot.
The results show has also been moved to 5.40pm on Saturday (December 3) instead of Sunday.
BBC bosses have re-jigged this weekend’s show to accommodate for the coverage of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
A statement from the BBC clarified the change: “Strictly Come Dancing will continue to bring glitter, glamour, and glorious dancing to homes across the nation throughout the 2022 FIFA World Cup.”
It’s not just the quarter-finals that are affected as the semi-finals will air on Sunday, December 11 at 7.15 pm.
