The couple had attended appointments with private doctors across London, however no medic has been able to find a resolution yet.
He said: “She’s had bad Covid and long Covid, so she’s been really affected by it, sadly.
“She’s OK, but still not what she wants to be. It’s been two years. She finds it deeply scary.
“We’re all over Harley Street like a rash, but no one really knows anything. The data on long Covid is still piling in. She’s been an absolute superstar.”
The Office for National Statistics have estimated that 1.8million Britons are currently suffering from long Covid.
Jamie dedicated his latest recipe book, ‘One: Simple One-Pan Wonders’, to his wife, saying: “If ever I wrote a book that was perfect for you, it’s this one,” and that it is “an opportunity to say, ‘Thank you. Love you’.”
