Fans have demanded reality star Kim Kardashian to “lower the prices” of her Skims products after she came under fire selling her products at “ridiculous” prices.
Branding the collection as “highly-anticipated”, the Skims Instagram account posted a snap of Kim in a co-ord set with the caption: “The sparkly, logo-adorned lounge sets on everyone’s list!”
They added: “Join the waitlist for early access to shop this highly-anticipated collection, dropping tomorrow.”

But fans weren’t too thrilled with the prices Kim was setting for the pieces in her collection.
One fan took to the comments to complain, writing: “Lower the prices! I was willing to pay before.”
“Lower some of the prices, I live in Canada and shouldn’t have to pay 250 dollars before tax … Disappointed because I support this brand often and I feel like it’s getting out of hand”, another added.
Another fan slammed the quality of the Skims pieces and accused Kim’s team of “slacking”.
They wrote: “$98 (£81) for some rhinestones that will fall off in the dryer. What is with Skims & these tacky drops lately. I used to be a huge fan but come on Kim…someone is slacking on your team”.
Skims was launched in 2019 and the cheapest item on the website appears to be a rhinestone embellished hair scrunchie, which retails for £24.
For the rhinestoned leggings and tank top set that Kim modelled in the Instagram post, customers were looking at setting themselves back £166.
Fans on the Kardashian-dedicated Reddit board called out the billionaire’s “out of touch” approach, and claimed the Skims brand is targeting millionaires rather than ordinary people.
One wrote: “There’s no way someone is that out of touch and believes those prices are reasonable. Her target audience is clearly other millionaires.”
While another added: “This is for the subset of upper-middle-class women who wanna appear rich or like a ‘baddie’.”
