Strictly Come Dancing pro's exit 'sealed' after giveaway signs during interview

Strictly Come Dancing fans were left worried after professional dancer Janette Manrara welcomed former co-star Karen Hauer onto It Takes Two.

Karen is the BBC show’s longest serving professional dancer and the pair discussed the Strictly Pro Challenge, which sees professionals try to set new Guinness World Records.

Janette announced that Karen would be joining her on the show, but as she stepped out fans grew concerned about her longevity on the programme.

Manrara rightfully labelled her “Strictly royalty” while Hauer joked back that she is “like a walking antiques show”, but some viewers think they see through the layered messages.

Fans turned to Twitter and shared their thoughts on Karen’s unusual introduction.

Fans think they’ve noticed a hidden hint

One super sleuth wrote: “The constant emphasis on Karen being the longest serving pro currently on Strictly is giving me major ‘she’s leaving’ vibes.”

Another viewer also tweeted: “Like in the first episode of Back Off each year when they give one contestant more air time than the rest, you know they’re for the chop.”

A clearly distressed viewer then wrote: “No. I love Karen.”

Hauer has been on the show since 2012 when she was partnered with Westlife star Nicky Byrne and reached the quarter finals in week 10.

The dancing duo eventually lost to Denise Van Outen and James Jordan, but this was just the beginning of her Strictly journey.

For the last 10 years, Karen has been a staple on the show and she returned for the 20th series in 2022 with partner Jayde Adams.

Despite their best efforts, the pair were eliminated in week four after they went up against Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu in the dance-off.

Viewers are worried this could be the end of the road for the dancer

Karen’s recent appearance on It Takes Two saw her attempt to set a new world record as she completed 23 steps in 30 seconds.

Craig Revel-Horwood was also in attendance and the Strictly star tried to perform the most Charleston kick-steps in the set time, but was left disappointed after she was told they were disqualified.

Janette exclaimed that she “couldn’t believe what had happened” while Karen joked that she would “like to speak to the manager now”.
