Lord Alan Sugar has hit out at people who work from home branding them a “bunch of lazy layabouts”.

The 75-year-old business tycoon, who will return to our screens in The Apprentice next month, says he’s “sick” of the working from home culture.

He also believes that allowing employees to continue working at home post coronavirus lockdown is pointless.

The outspoken business tycoon told The Sun: “I am sick of this working from home culture. The people who benefitted the most from Covid are a bunch of lazy layabouts.

“Working from home was necessary at the beginning but we are well past that now.

“I was told I was out of touch. I am not out of touch, believe me. You know nothing until you are in a workplace bouncing off other people.”

The line-up for the 2023 has reportedly been revealed weeks ahead of the first episode, which is due to air on January 5.

18 new candidates will all compete to win a life-changing £250,000 investment in their businesses.

Lord Sugar will once again be joined by his trusted advisors Baroness Karren Brady and Tim Campbell MBE, along with Claude Littner, who returns for two episodes.

However before stepping into the boardroom, some of the budding entrepreneurs may already be familiar to viewers.

Reece Donnelly is believed to be one of the Apprentice candidates but TV viewers may recognise him from a number of other series.

It seems the actor is a talented performer after previously appearing on Britain’s Got Talent in 2022.

That’s not all, as he also appeared in BBC series Waterloo Road and TV adverts for T-Mobile after landing his first acting role on CBBC at the age of six years old.

Victoria Goulbourne is also thought to be part of the new batch of candidates.

The business owner is also a TikTok sensation, with more than 42k followers on the platform, and a huge 12.7k followers on Instagram.
