After a long day of training, the pair returned to the footballer’s family home where he introduced the star to his new family pets in his stunning £2million Cotswolds home.
The famous family recently welcomed three new pigs on their family farm complete with stables, paddocks a garage and a tennis court.
But since they got the trio home, the family have struggled to name all of their new four-legged friends.
It was at this point that the former footballer decided to cement his time on Strictly Come Dancing in his family unit after he named one of the adorable piglets after his dance partner.
And it’s fair to say the Russian dancer was overwhelmed by the sweet gesture as she took to Instagram to introduce her loyal legion of fans to the little one online.
In full view of her 212k followers on her Instagram Story, she shared a sweet video of the little pig munching her dinner up in the family kitchen.
She captioned the carousel of snaps: “Introducing you to Kat, she’s the best thing ever. She got so tired from apples, she fell asleep walking up the steps.
“Leader of the pack. Fully buried herself into her food. Thank you, Adam’s family, for naming one of the pigs after me – what an honour! @tonyadamsofficial @popelov.”
