Tony Adams’ wife Poppy Teacher has revealed that she wants her footballer husband voted off Strictly Come Dancing.
The former Arsenal and England football captain is paired with professional dancer Katya Jones on the BBC programme, and has proved to be a firm hit with fans – despite his lack of dancing ability.
Despite this, Tony’s wife Poppy has revealed that she now wants her hubby voted off Strictly, as there are other priorities that needed to be sorted at home.

Speaking to The Telegraph, she said: “It’s been a mad day. We’ve got the pigs, Atticus just passed his driving test, the roof needs doing.
“Basically, Tony needs to be voted out.”
She also added that she has a list of jobs for Tony to complete when he returns home, including his first job – to sort out the guttering.
However, Poppy explained that she and their five children are “deeply proud” of Tony’s performances on Strictly, with the star reported to spend more than 40 hours a week in training with his dance partner.
Despite being proud, Poppy said she and the family do still poke fun at Tony, saying: “Luckily, we do a very good job of bringing him down to earth and rolling our eyes at him.
“He’s not a dancer, right? He was crap to start with, and now he’s… not crap.”
Since stepping onto the dance floor, Tony and wife Poppy have formed a close bond with his dancing partner Katya, with Poppy revealing that the family have named some new additions at home after her and a fellow star.
Tony and Poppy recently welcome some pigs to their home in the Cotswalds, with one being named after Katya and another being named after judge Anton Du Beke.
Previously speaking to Daily Express, Katya also commented on her close bond with Tony and Poppy, saying: “Me and Poppy have good chats, to make him work harder! I’ve been over to dinner, met the dog, and the daughter, they are absolutely lovely.
“Meeting them was the second best moment – the best was when they came and watched Tony dance for the first time, their reactions were absolutely priceless.”
