Married Ellie Goulding 'joins celeb dating app Raya' – but has very innocent reason

Ellie Goulding has reportedly joined celebrity dating app Raya despite being married – but has made it clear she is only looking for friends.

The pop princess, 35, married art dealer Caspar Jopling at York Minster in 2019 and they share their 18-month-old son Arthur.

And according to reports, the Starry Eyed songstress is looking for some high profile pals after setting up an account on Raya.

However according to The Sun, she has also made it clear she is looking for friends only.

A source told the paper: “Ellie is happily married to Caspar Jopling but she kept her Raya profile open to connect with interesting people.

“She makes it clear that her profile is only for mates as she includes the tag line, ‘Here just for friends,’ so it’s nothing untoward.”

Ellie, who recently returned to music with her single Let It Die, taken from her fifth album Higher Than Heaven, married Caspar in a star-studded ceremony at York Minster in 2019.

Princess Eugenie and her sister Princess Beatrice were in attendance, as was their mother Sarah, Duchess of York.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom also attended to celebrate with the couple.

Other famous faces who made an appearance included Prince Harry’s ex Cressida Bonas, Sienna Miller, James Blunt and Tracey Emin.

And while Ellie is clearly loved-up now, she’s no stranger to heartbreak and her new single is all about that.

She explained on Instagram: “Let it Die is about when a relationship plays out much longer than it needed to.

“Instead of giving love to yourself you spend it all on someone else and have nothing left, which is when it can become toxic and harmful. When there is intensity and urgency too quickly in love there is often a crash.”
