X Factor stars say Simon Cowell ‘terrified’ everyone on cast of ‘intense’ ITV show

X Factor stars Max and Harvey Mills have revealed that Simon Cowell “terrified” everyone the show.

The CBBC stars competed on the celebrity version of the show in 2019 and loved working with the music mogul.

The twins appeared on the red carpet of the Pride of Britain awards which took place on Tuesday (October 24).

When asked if the show should make a return, Max said: “No, it needs longer.”

Harvey echoed: “No, I need to catch my breath first.”

Max added: “It needs ten years at least maybe.”

But apparently, despite their thoughts, the show will make a return soon – as industry whispers suggest.

So, with that being said – if it was to return who should be on the judging panel?

Max answered: “Louis, I think if he has maybe a carer or something to sit with him then that would be nice but other than that no he needs to go.”

Continuing about his time on the ITV show, he said: “It was fun but intense, there is no other job we’ve worked that was like that.”

Harvey added: “It was an eye opener.”

But how did they feel about the man himself Simon Cowell?

Max revealed: “He still terrifies everyone when he walks in the room but he’s genuinely so lovely.”

The identical twin singers, 19, came second in the show after losing out to Megan McKenna.

In other X Factor news, former contestant Olly Murs has hinted he would love to return to the show – but perhaps not in front of the camera.

Olly Murs said he would love to return to the show

He told us: “I love everything about it and there are definitely things I think they can improve on.

“And I think there are things that they should keep that are really great.”

Olly, 38, then also put it out there that he would love a sit down with Simon.

He continued: “You know, Simon knows where I am. If ever he wanted to have a chat about it, I’d love to be involved.

“It’d be brilliant, I’d love to be involved behind the scenes.”
