Alan Carr is on a mission to get a role in the third Mamma Mia! movie.
The comic loves the first two instalments so it would be his dream if he pulled it off.
He said: “I could play a camp waiter. Surely they can have a camp waiter in Mamma Mia! 3. They need to make a decision soon though. I’m not getting any younger.”

Alan has even been begging the creator of the franchise Judy Cramer. He is a judge on new TV singing contest Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream and got to meet her during filming.
And he seized the opportunity to try to convince her to give him a role on the big screen. Judy joked: “Alan has offered to be in the third film. He’s been sending me cash on a weekly basis. We offered him the fourth possible father but he just wants to be a waiter.”
“It’s already been five years since the second film was released but the third one isn’t likely to happen any time soon. I want to do a third film very much. I hope that will happen. But anything with Mamma Mia! takes a long time.”
See Alan on Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream on Sunday, October 22 at 6pm on ITV1.
